Cadaster Upgrading
Високий The cadaster is currently fragmented, only partially tied to a national coordinate reference system. This causes severe problems in land conveyancing both in terms of establishing tenure rights and frequent need for survey work. Land Use Planning
Високий Land use planning data is not at sufficient level of detail to enable land use trends and SLM practices to be assessed and mapped to track response measures. This is exacerbated by the lack of a national land policy. Further, local zoning plans (large scale land use plans) are not consistent with national land use maps. Consistent information on land use (type, change, pressures) and on management practices and their impacts is needed to avoid degradation of vegetation, soil and water resources (including reduced quality, contamination, erosion and siltation, depletion of water resources nutrients and soil organic matter, acidification, compaction, loss of arable lands and sealing through urban growth) and loss of above and below ground biodiversity at genetic, species and habitat levels and associated ecosystem services.

National Addressing
Високий Several partial address databases exist (for details see the current state diagnostic report). Further, there is no national addressing standard with many variations in both address recording and on the ground usage. Establishing a national standard, cross matching of these partial sets to create a master National Address Database, followed by a campaign of marketing the new facility thus creating a strong use case that would benefit users in Government (support to core registers initiative), business (collection and delivery, marketing etc.) and consumers (navigation).

Consequently, the levels of tax collected is sub-optimal. There is an IDB- funded project underway led by MoF and MoC .
